Intercomparison of Thermometer Screens in the Arctic

Ny Alesund is the northernmost functional civilian settlement in the world.
This Comparison of thermometers and radiation shields is an international project being conducted as part of the European EMPIR project 19SIP06 Coat [1] and supported by WMO (World Meteorological Organization).
The general objective is to increase the comparability of air temperature measurements in Arctic conditions.
The field campaign is scheduled for June 2022 - June 2023.
