The goal was to obtain a reliable and immediate overview of conditions in all important areas of operation – from the sales area to the medicine warehouse and storage refrigerators.

The U3120G wireless device was installed in the store, combining accurate temperature and humidity measurement with automatic data transmission via the 4G mobile network. This compact unit provides continuous and reliable information about the microclimate in a place where even a slight deviation can affect the stability of medicines and their shelf life.

The U3631G data logger was chosen for the pharmacy refrigerator and storage room. It monitors the temperature and relative humidity of the environment and also has an external temperature probe for monitoring refrigerators with a built-in 4G modem. The device ensures highly accurate measurements inside the cooling unit and, thanks to instant alarms, alerts you to any exceedance of the permitted limits. The advantage is that the devices are equipped with a rechargeable battery and, if they are also powered from the mains, the device can respond to a power failure and inform the user with an alarm that it has switched to battery power. Another advantage is that the competent persons are notified even before the set values are exceeded.

The implementation of COMET wireless monitoring has provided the pharmacy chain with a robust, auditable, and user-friendly system that fully supports Good Pharmacy Practice requirements. All data is securely transmitted, stored, and available at any time for inspection, reporting, and operational decision-making.
