Automated operator protection during dry ice production using H6020

The H6020 controller was installed at the customer's premises in a closed container where the dry ice generator is located. During operation, the space naturally experiences higher concentrations of CO₂, which poses a safety risk to operators. That is why the customer was looking for a reliable solution that would ensure continuous monitoring of the current CO₂ level and be able to respond in a timely manner to dangerous values.

The H6020 controller plays a dual role here. It continuously monitors the CO₂ concentration and automatically disconnects the dry ice generator from the power supply when the level exceeds the set limit. This prevents further accumulation of gas in the enclosed space and ensures safe operation without the need for operator intervention. The customer thus obtains a simple yet robust risk prevention solution.

If the CO₂ concentration reaches a critical level, the controller activates a red warning beacon, which clearly signals that entry into the container is prohibited. This feature significantly increases personnel safety by providing an immediate visual warning even when the operator is away from the equipment or otherwise occupied. Thanks to the installation of the H6020, the customer has control not only over the technology itself, but above all over safe working conditions.
